This is very cool! But not what I needed… but the fake sewn tubular bind off from 2007 was exactly… I was like “ugh i should do the sewn tubular bind off but I do not feel like wrestling with a tapestry needle and pulling through yards of yarn… how can I just do it with my needles?” Sure enough TECHknitter to the rescue! 😜 thanks… again!!!

In Step 4, how do you pass the purl stitches over the knit stitches? Pass the knit stitches one at a time to the purl needle?

Yes, that would work if the purl you're slinging is behind (after the knit). If it is before the knit, you can sling it over directly by threading it onto the right needle first, and then slide on the knit, and then lift the purl over the knit using the left needle.
